Hover Pop-Ups and Black Outs?

Postby SurferJoe » Fri Oct 21, 2016 12:07 am

A lot of other sites have the ability to pop-up the first post by hovering on the title to the hyperlink. That makes it easier to see the gist of the post and if one wants to click on it or not. Can that be implemented?

And how about a Night or Blackout version to make it easier on (old) eyes to read in darker areas?

Wow, that solves the problem of people who aren't able to create an appropriate "SUBJECT" line for their posts. ;)
"HELP"
"HELLLLP MEEE"
"WOW"
"PLEASE HELP"
"LOOK AT THIS PLEASE"
"STUMPED"
"BAFFLED"
"NOT AGAIN!"
etc. etc. etc.

This may be a limit of the PHPbb software that the popup may not show. I will do some investigating. As far as a dark theme I will see if I can get that added to the to do list.
