Problems with the Chevy ad

Postby Enemigo » Fri Apr 23, 2021 11:03 am

Anyone else having problems with the Chevy advertisement? It does a full screen pop up with a video. There is a skip button right on the ad, but it doesn't work. Once the ad pay across the entire screen, one of two things happen.
1) the ad breaks the page and you can't even scroll, let alone respond.
2) you can scroll down to continue reading, but you can't close the ads over the photos, and can't click on the photos to enlarge them.

Both options are unacceptable. No ad should disable basic site functions. This only happens while browsing mobile. I'm using Chrome on an Android device.

Anyone else?

Haven't seen an advertisement on a website for years. Use an adblocker or better yet, switch to using Brave as your web browser. :)

You can get Brave on Android and iOS, yes.

I'll work on converting, thank you.

*I figured there was nothing we could do and can't count on the new owners to do anything, so your solution is the best I could hope for. Thanks. :)
