I've got a 94 rodeo 2wd. has a dipstick but it has no drain plug or fill plug. on either pan. I hate this design. seems to be uncommon anyone else have a set up with no drain or fill plug?

The early 4L30e transmission had no drain plug, later ones had a drain plug and a dip stick, around 96 they stupidly removed the dip stick and went to a bottom fill plug and a bottom drain plug configuration. Of course with no dip stick no one ever checked the ATF level or color so the transmissions frequently burned up a got branded as a junk transmission.

I think a 94 should have drain plug, maybe the original got damaged and replaced with an older one.
