Services offered or bartered section?

Postby squatch » Tue Mar 20, 2012 10:12 pm

I don't often feel a need for changes to this place but had a thought this evening. No idea if it breaks any rules or anything like making this a commercial site. How about a services offered or bartered section. Use at your own risk. All transactions between the parties. Forum not responsible for posts kinda thing. I do most of my own work on everything but occasionally need to hire a craftsman. What brought this up is I need a painter. My log house needs staining this year. The person I've used since we built it gave it up because of his knees last fall. I can't do the ladders any longer myself. For stuff like this I'd love to spend my money with a fellow Zoo nut if there was one in the area that does this work. I know we have all sorts of tradesmen on here and in today's climate many could use the referrals
Same for just sharing/bartering work. I'll offer my plumbing services for your transmission repair Kinda thing
My builds are dead without the pics photobucket was holding hostage. The pics have been deleted and so have the links from my sig.

It isn't a bad idea. Do you think it will be too local?
