How are you liking those so far?
I'm probably gonna throw a set on there this weekend. At the price if I don't like, them no great loss.

Any tips? How much did you have to take apart to get them in? Shock mount? Just U-bolts and center pin? Jack axle off spring pack, or what? I don't really have a floor jack is my problem, just bottle jack and jack stands. (and ramps, not that they help for this)

I want to haul a scooter on one of those hitch receiver carriers, so I figure limiting sag in the back is a good idea. Besides, just the shackles aren't giving me the "lifted truck" look I'm going for. 8)

They work great! Still holding up good! And theyre really simple. My tips for u would be to first jack it up to where your axle is drooping and put jack stands on the frame. Then unbolt your u bolts and just let the shock and mount dangle, then take the nut off the center pin nut. Remove your overload spring and place your spring helper in. Place the overload on the bottom of the helper and use c clamps on each side to get them as close to each other as possible so you can reuse the same center pin. Put the nut for the center pin back on and bolt your u-bolts back up. You dont even have to lift the axle up if u do it this way just make sure you have support under the leaf spring so it doesn't seperate when u unbolt the center pin

Ah, okay, haha I already bought a couple three inch long 3/8" socket head bolts and locknuts to use as center pins, thinking I'd need longer ones. We'll see if I can get away with the old ones.

I'm editing this post for follow-up. So, I was able to use the old pin, at least on one side, I couldn't get the nut off the center pin on the other side! Had to put it all back together for now. I tried everything, pin just kept spinning with nut. I'll have to cut it off tomorrow, didn't have tool for it. I have the helper spring on one side right now. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Which brings me to a question, what did you do about this: (this is the front end of spring, back doesn't have this problem)

Did you have it this way, or did you figure out how to get that clamp thingy off a there? I don't like it sitting on that rivet knob whatever you call it, but looks like you need heavy machinery to get it off.

Yes mine sits just like that. I said screw it and left it like that lol! It wont hurt anything and it wont be noisy as long as you used the added u bolt things to tie it down tight

And the hubs were very easy. Ill attach a web link here in a second that explains how theyre put together very well

Hello again all. just wanted to do an update, done a few recent things. added two train horns with dual compressors and built a switch panel that goes beneath my radio. Ill add pics of that when I can. Also ordered this led light bar to go on the roof. should be pretty sweet
