Yeah, I was really bummed about it until last night. A fellow planet member and good friend sold me his spare motor that has less than 1,000 miles on the rebuild. Thanks to Shaggy, it should be back on the road again in about a week or so. :D

I forgot to post in here once the Armadillo was back running again. Been running good for a while now and I only regret ditching all the AC components a little since the heat wave is starting to subside here a little. I was pumping gas the other day and happened to notice my tires were looking like street slicks so today I went to Discount Tire and got a set of Pathfinder SATs for it. They are supposed to be 60k mile tires so hopefully it will be a while until I need tires again.

This will probably be the last post I make on this thread. I am going to buy a 2000 Trooper tonight with a 5spd that will become my new daily driver and then probably sell the Armadillo. Its been a fun truck and I will miss it, but I am at the point where a more reliable daily driver is in order. I thought about just taking the Armadillo off the road and parking it until money and time allowed me to make it a project but if I did that somehow I would never get around to it. I figure its best to part with it while its still a driver rather than just end up selling it later as a non running project. I will start a new thread showing off the 2000 as soon as I get it home and take some pics of it.

*UPDATE

Just posting the last pics of the Armadillo to show what it looks like before it goes to a new owner. I have to say, the 16" wheels from the 2000 Trooper I got look pretty good on it.
