COVID Vaccine

Postby Skeletor » Mon Jan 04, 2021 12:36 am

As most of us know, the first wave of the vaccine, geared to combat COVID, is now being rolled on in many U.S. cities...some will gladly take it. Others will flatly reuse...and others will take a wait and see attitude...before deciding whether or not to's a mail art POSTCARD about the vaccine...hopefully, it'll post....if so, look it over...draw your own conclusion...

My daughter (RN) got it last week. She was sick for 2 days. She was the only one from her hospital to have a bad reaction. I will most likely get it (if / when it's offered). I see (locally) where the wealthy have already weaseled their way into getting ahead of the less wealthy and of course politicians are getting theirs. Dennis

As they say (my 2 cents) for conversation. My son got his several weeks ago. He's in the medical field. No reaction. Said it didn't hurt as much as the annual flu shot. If I was younger, would probably wait and see. As that's not the case and my age and diabetes put me it the high risk group, so signed up yesterday in our county and if and when they get the vaccine and places set up to administer it, I'll go.

think we had it back in February 2020 at our home. i rarely get ill and i was knocked down for over a day. wheezing and coughing lasted a couple weeks. I just let it pass and no issues since. I am one of those wait and see people, hate putting anything unnatural in my body (and i mean illegal drugs/smoking/processed foods) i even hate taking pain medication.... Know a few people in the medical field that took it and got violently ill from it. all over 60 yrs old still young at 47 :D so i'd rather see someone that needs it to protect themselves get it good.
if i build it, it will scrape..........or catch on fire
I'm not a mechanic, but i played one in my garage......

I get my yearly flu shot.

Not gonna run out and get a covid shot. We've lived our lives as normally as we can, go out and eat, go to stores, etc. May have been exposed to it in Nov 2019 when my 90 yr old mom was hospitalized for some "unknown pneumonia" for 3 weeks. Nearly killed her but she was never put on ventilator.
