Doug called me last night, and told me something that I was supposed to post-up in this thread... but then he told me something that I'm NOT supposed to post-up in this thread (not yet), and the second one was so cool, I totally forgot what the first one was

Sorry Doug -- but that's what you get for opening with a Ritz Cracker, and finishing with a juicy 32oz Porterhouse :P

Cheers!

yeah 8) but he has sent out premade ones we'll have to see what they look like.

I mounted the gas tank, plumbed it and added gas...........vroom,vroom she started right up after almost 3months.......I was happy.

I fixed some wiring issues, and all the lights and such work now, gotta remember to be careful welding around wire harnesses

started on rear bumper sunday morning,I still have two sidebraces to the frame to mount on the quarterpanel protection.

As well as two more short tubes to tie bumper into cage.

but heres some pics.
center mount to cage, bent for tire clearance.

No loss of departer angle.

Not welding the front yet,I need more gear before that happens,I gotta keep momentum up and I know I don't have enough umpf to crawl yet.

As for how many zu's in the pic (I had too peak again)

there are 6,you can see the back of mine peeking out behind mama's amigo :P and if you look thru the ratrods windows you can make out the back of another 1st gen Amigo,up on 55 gallon drums

Of course that's only cause I know it's there

Thanks for all the props, this keeps me motivated to keep working, atleast we'll be representing Isuzu's in one of the oddest :? Isuzu's there.

I really dig the rear bumper 8) I'm assuming that it is removable with the tire carrier to replace the tail gate.

I dare say that you will get a lot of double takes when you roll up to Uwharrie in that thing  Especially if you have the top and tail gate on with the rear bumper removed, and then proceed to transform into battle mode

Wish I could be there.

I think the contenders for the prestigious ‘Most Isuzus Currently Owned’ Chocolate-Chip Cookie are Bansil & Mama Turtle, Lowzone, and Curtis Johnson -- together, they could open a dealership :!:
