Removal of Roof Rack Molding 1998 Rodeo

Postby robertgarven » Tue Aug 25, 2020 9:30 pm

Friends,

I have been zipping along in my 1998 Isuzu Rodeo, but I have some rust appearing right infant of the moulding right infront of the rear mount for the roof rack on the passenger side. I know there is trick to removing it and thought one of you could assist me in the proper technique?

Thanks

Rob

All,

I really love this truck and want to fix that spot. I also know old parts are easier to break, than to find replacement parts for, so hoping anyone that has ever done this will reach out!

Thanks,

Rob

I first unscrewed the rails, the plastic plug just bent with a screwdriver. Only then put back well will not work. by the way, under this cover-mount for some device
