Question is how or can u bypass this little devil, its going bad and fast and id rather do wiithout it if possible, its a 96 rodeo, 5 speed

This should just be a simple on-off switch. Remove the two wires leading to the switch and connect them together and that should do it.

If you have cruise control that will stop working since it thinks the clutch is pushed in all the time but thats really the only down side of it.

You could mount a hidden momentary push button switch somewhere to take the place of the safety switch, anti theft device :twisted:

ok replaced switch, and of course not the problem, checkd battery, good, cant reach friggin connections on starter so im gonna attempt to pull it off, shes to the point she wont start at all, just clicking. any suggestions on how to pull it off the easy way bc it looks kinda difficult to get to much less get out???
