ya know some peeps sigs can be handled as an animated GIF and used as their profile pic if you got lots to show.
just an idea.

You do your sig block the way everyone with a lot of stuff should. Very nice. Should be mandatory.

Just noticed this thread, and I'll echo that this isn't just about people needing to upgrade their hardware. When I'm on here, I'm usually on my BlackBerry half the time, and when the same person has posted several times on a thread, the big sigs do take some time to load and scroll through. I'm all about people having a cool sig. But the huge photo spreads of every 'Zu that a member owns combined with the three or four post length signature underneath isn't really necessary. Normally I just overlook it, and there are ways to keep the sigs from loading. Some good guidelines have been mentioned here, though, for keeping the sigs sane.

I'm usually on my blackberry - I agree it sucks.
how about this one - ONLY ONE SIGNATURE POST PER THREAD! I don't need to see the same signature over and over again when two people are going back and forth..
I like to think this board is like an AIM chat but with an extra 10 lines and 5 pictures after every "IM" sometimes
