They sell slim-jims at pretty much any auto store for like $6. I used one on my door once, set off the alarm but still got the door open.

I've also used a hanger bent up on the end to hit the unlock switch for the power locks.

Ok, there's going to be someone else here who locked thier keys in the vehicle today...

These things always happen in threes, right ? LOL

Atalmost exactly the same time that you made your first post in this thread..... I had just locked my keys in my 88 troop.

I scrounged a coat hanger and got the vent window open. Then had to reach in from there and unlock the door.

Tore up the rubber weatherstrip at the front of the wing window.

I locked my keys in my 95 a few months ago, Turns out here in california is iligal to have slim jims unless you have a license to tow vehicles. so my friend got 2 flat heads, 2 towels and one of those long flexible sticks with fingers at the end and got my car open

Done this tooo many times, now I carry one key in my wallet at all times as well as have a velcro pouch hide a key stashed on my rig.
